To apply for the Standard Chartered Women in Tech accelerator, your start-up should:
- Have a gender-diverse team with at least one female co-founder
- Have an early-stage start-up operational for one year with at least a Minimum Viable Product (Seed-stage and pre-series A start-ups)
- Demonstrate that the solution is innovative and scalable
- Demonstrate the technology's sustainable impact (environmental, social or economic)
- Be registered and operating in the UAE
- Be available for the duration of programme activities and events (taking place both in-person and online)

Frequently Asked Questions
How much time do I have to dedicate to the programme?
The core content programming will mainly require up to five hours of your time per week to attend your group sessions from 2 July to 10 October 2024. If you are selected for the programme, specific time commitments will be communicated.
Can other team members take part in the programme?
The programme content is primarily designed for founders, but we value the contributions of all team members. We can discuss if it makes sense to include some C-level team members for certain specific sessions. Your input is important to us, so do not hesitate to ask!
Does Standard Chartered Women in Tech invest in the start-up or ask for equity?
Rest assured, Standard Chartered Women in Tech is committed to supporting you without any financial burden. We do not invest in the company through this programme nor request any equity or financial commitment.
Do I need to travel for the programme?
The accelerator is a hybrid programme with weekly online and in-person sessions (Downtown Dubai or Internet City). At least one co-founder must attend these sessions.
